DJ Treflip is the man!! We were searching for the perfect entertainment for our wedding and found Republic of Music's DJ Treflip. He is amazing, professional, and super talented. We went with the DJ option (they also have a live band) and got the best DJ I have ever seen!! DJ Treflip's transitions were killer--stuff I never thought of that went together! He played exactly what we asked for and kept the dance floor full. The Dinner and cocktail music was just right and allowed everyone to chat and enjoy the food and drink. 

And he was a great MC, to boot! He was kind to our guests and brought them the mic. He made sure to know exactly how to pronounce our names and the bridal party's. So grateful! 

The Republic of Music staff who helped us book their DJ were also very professional and made the process easy. They even helped us put together a timeline and visualize our day. Super thorough!  

We even went to one of their public performances, so we could see the band and the DJ. They are both incredible!

My wife and I hired the following for our wedding:
Guitar and piano duo for our ceremony -  we chose beautiful classical songs that the musicians executed perfectly.

5 Piece band for the cocktail hour - we wanted the party atmosphere to get started early while we were having our pictures taken so we had 5 of Republic of Music's performers plus 1 female vocalist perform during our cocktail hour. When we returned from pictures we were blown away to find that our guests had already started dancing and celebrating with the band! No one seemed in a hurry for dinner so we just joined in before even entering the reception! What was supposed to be a 1 hour and 15 min cocktail hour turned into a 2 hour dance party (much to our caterers dismay)! This really set the tone for the rest of the night. From the un-ending compliments from our guests, it's clear they had such a fun and memorable experience right from the beginning!

DJ Treflip during the reception - After I saw what an incredible time our guests were having with the band during the cocktail hour, it crossed my mind that maybe the energy would go down because we were transitioning to the DJ for the rest of the reception and how could he ever match the magic that got started in the cocktail hour. Boy was I ever wrong to worry about that! Right when our ballroom doors opened DJ Treflip had the most lively, fun music playing as our guests entered the room (again, a lot of our guests headed straight for the dance floor and had it not been for our coordinator and DJ Treflip's encouragement for everyone to find their seat, it probably would've turned into another dance party!) 

The rest of the night went perfectly. DJ Treflip did a great job as our MC during the announcements and toasts. I've seen a lot of DJ's whose announcements at a wedding seem more like they're hyping up a club than being cool, kind and professional. It was really important to my wife and I that our DJ didn't do or say anything cheesy. DJ Treflip was the perfect balance for us. During dinner his announcements were warm and to the point and during dancing his music medley's and mashups were so on point that our dance floor was NEVER empty! A couple times he gave shout outs to our guests to hype them up and once he even came onto the dance floor to teach everyone how to do the Cupid Shuffle but other than that, his mixing, turn-table skills and music choices kept everyone dancing! 

We seriously couldn't have chosen better for our wedding.

We wanted our wedding to be unique...CHECK! 
We wanted a great band AND a killer DJ...CHECK!
We wanted wedding entertainment that was affordable...CHECK!
We wanted an experience that my wife and I plus our 170 guests would never forget....CHECK!

Booked DJ TreFlip for a charity motorcycle ride. From booking to clean-up, this guy was ON POINT!  A Total professional who really helped set a fun atmosphere with his attitude, talent and music!  I'll never use anyone else!  Thanks, Matt aka...DJ Treflip!!

WOW!  We had DJ TreFlip for our school's Falcon Field Day on 10/10.  And he was amazing!  He was there super early, set up, accommodated our crazy school schedule, played great appropriate music for the kids, and had everyone pumped up for the afternoon!  Our event was only supposed to be 2 hours but he had everyone dancing and engaged for almost 3!  Great energy and music selection!  We will definitely sign him up for our next school event!

DJ Treflip is the best!!! I found Tiana/Republic of Music through gig masters (I think) and she responded to me quickly and professionally.  After discussing pricing, I realized that a live band would surpass my wedding budget. I told her that I wouldn't be able to afford it and that I'd use a DJ but thank you and she quickly came to the rescue!!! "I have a great DJ we work with," she said. After that, it was all perfect! She worked with our budget and met up with us to discuss. She was kind, professional and understood exactly what we had envisioned for our wedding.  She was very helpful; had a lot of great suggestions including the anniversary dance and helped us with the wedding timeline.  She demonstrated a lot of experience and it gave us confidence.

Matt is super sweet.  He traveled far to meet us a month before the wedding to discuss details. He understood the vision of our wedding perfectly.  On the day of, he arrived early and was able to help me (the bride) unload things from the car and get set up. The party was a hit!! The dinner music was loved by all.  His MC skills were just right: not too dominating and not too absent.  He announced everything we had asked of him and kept us dancing all night long.  He was dressed nicely and his set up was smooth.   

Overall, I was left with a very happy feeling that we entrusted our music services to DJ Treflip and Republic of Music.  I will definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to have an excellent party.
