What a privilege to play for our beautiful couple, Ed & Melissa! Their wedding was held at The Santaluz Club, a beautiful San Diego wedding venue nestled in the outskirts of Rancho Santa Fe. Loving the daytime scenery, they opted for a lovely luncheon experience.
It was particularly special to us that we were given the opportunity to celebrate Ed & Melissa's love as we had witnessed it from the early stages right when they had begun dating. Republic of Music provided a San Diego live wedding band for one of their friends in 2011 and we remember seeing the sparks of love between them as they were dancing and laughing on the dance floort three years ago. It was clear then that this couple had something special between them, so to find out that they were getting married a few years later was such a treat! We were honored that we were one of their first calls when they sought to hire a San Diego wedding band.
The highlight of the event was when our Music Director, Ricky Mozart, accompanied Ed on acoustic guitar as he sang, "Grow Old With You", Adam Sandler to his new bride. So memorable.
The guests at this wedding were so fun and interactive; the dance floor was packed till the very end. Our renowned wedding band vocalists, Kori and Victoria, led the high energy experience by singing all the best hits from the 70's to today. Ed had a particular fondness for 80's rock music so Victoria regaled the crowd with a riveting version of "Don't Stop Believing."
In all, it was another fantastic day for the Republic of Music camp! We can't thank our clients enough for the honor of being their live wedding band!
