If you are interested in my detailed experience with RoM, read below. For those of you who'd like a quick review about them, just wanted to say that without a doubt, Republic of Music absolutely made our wedding night. All of the guests raved about them, and my husband and I had the best night of our entire lives thanks to Tiana and her gang. This band is extremely special, and without a doubt the best sounding band with the best hearted people. My husband and I knew we didn't want a DJ for our wedding night, and although we knew hiring a band would be more expensive, we wanted a band experience and agreed to look at bands together. We searched on many review sites, and through all of the reviews, RoM was the only band that did not have one negative review. Obviously skeptical, we decided to reach out to the band to get some more information. Tiana and Emily were extremely quick to respond about our inquiry, and we had an initial chat with Tiana over the phone. She mentioned that they were playing at a local casino and told us to come out to see them if we would like before we made a decision about hiring them. My husband and I went to the casino, and the moment we heard them play "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner, we knew this was the band for us (during this song at the casino, every single person was on the dance floor, and the band had choreographed moves that they taught the crowd before they performed the song). Once we decided to book the band, we had a few phone calls with Tiana to make sure everything was in order for our wedding night. Flash forward to the wedding day...I have so many things to say that I'll bullet them out :-)
- MC: Tiana was the best MC. She is so calm, cool, and collected yet she knew when to rally the crowd as she is a master at reading the crowd
- First dance: we decided to have everyone come up and dance for a few songs after the First Dance. Best decision ever! I was able to hug a lot of my guests on the dance floor before dinner and it really set the mood for the rest of the night (I was skeptical about this but Tiana was right in that it really made the night special)!
- Dinner music: the band played during our dinner and it was lovely. We really enjoyed the songs they played and it wasn't too loud as we could still talk to guests and greet them.
- RoM will learn two songs for you on your big day (we chose a country song and a classic song and their performance for both were outstanding)
- The rest of the evening was an absolute blast!! Highlights include: me getting up on stage playing the piano (I'm a pianist and they let me rock out to a song), singing battle with bride and groom side, and CROWD SURFING! This was seriously the talk of the night. I never thought I would crowd surf, let alone at my own wedding. It was awesome! Seriously, from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank RoM, and special shout out to Tiana for making our wedding the best night for us and for our guests. My dad said our wedding was the best he's every been to, even better than his own! We could not be happier with our choice to hire RoM. We are actually sad that we won't be able to interact with Tiana on a regular basis, but we will hire them for anything we may need in the future. Thanks again, and we love you! Xo, David & Erika
Mother of Groom, Connie: THEE BEST WEDDING BAND ever!! My family had the absolute best time at my son's wedding dance. We also used the company for renting sound equipment at the rehearsal dinner. Each and every person I dealt with were warm, personal, and extremely helpful which is no small feat when you live on the east coast and making arrangements for a wedding on the west coast. I highly recommend ROM if you want a fun, professional band for any celebration.

Tiana and ROM are INCREDIBLE! They made our wedding come to life on the dance floor! Since our wedding day, I’ve had 50+ people tell us how amazing our live band (ROM) was! Even now after the wedding we love them so much that we try to see them at other events they perform at around San Diego too… they are that awesome! Oh, and I can guarantee the next big event in our family will include ROM in it!
When I first reached out to Tiana she responded promptly and spent 1.5 hours on the phone with me going through what they offer, and outlining what I was looking for. Right then and there, I knew she was committed to making our wedding the best experience ever. Tiana invited my mom and sister to go to some of their performances (including a wedding) so we could see them live. My mom facetime’d me and we were immediately sold… they were rockin’ the reception! Tiana worked with me and tailored our wedding package to fit what we wanted in regard to ceremony music (string quartet), cocktail music (jazz trio), and reception music. When I told her the two songs that we wanted as our first dance and as the mother/son dance, she said the band didn’t know them but would be willing to learn the new songs for us… so thoughtful and client oriented! Tiana’s thoughtfulness and willingness to do whatever she could to make our day special was unlike any other band we’d met… she really went above and beyond.
The more we worked with Tiana the more we loved how accommodating and supportive she was. During the year leading up to the wedding, we reached out to her and ROM to see if they had a DJ package they could provide for a backyard engagement party my parents hosted for us. She did (of course) and he was awesome… people were dancing in their backyard for multiple hours! We also had Tiana and her husband sing at a Welcome Fiesta party my family hosted to welcome guests to San Diego. For the rehearsal, Tiana let us rent equipment (microphone and speaker) which made it easy for my in-laws to coordinate since she was already doing our other events too. As you can see, Tiana can make anything happen because she is professional, thorough, detailed, and talented… one stop shop!
Tiana was our emcee and did a fabulous job. ROM did an acoustic “unplugged” set during dinner which was perfect for the environment we wanted at dinner… our guests loved the acoustic selection and thought it was a unique/creative idea. She helped coordinate, with my in-laws and their entire family, a surprise flash mob! It included my fiancé’s entire family (siblings, nieces, nephews, etc.) in the middle of our reception!!! It was the highlight of the night and neither my fiancé nor I had any clue (and I had even memorized that timeline haha)! It couldn’t have been pulled off with Tiana’s help and support. As you can imagine, the reception was one of a kind… the dance floor was packed the entire time and ROM kept the fun, party atmosphere we wanted alive. They even got me and my husband to crowd surf over our dance floor at the reception… it was seriously a blast. You want ROM to be your live band for whatever event you may be planning! They are top quality, wonderful people to work with, client oriented, and go above and beyond in creativity and execution. Thank you, Tiana and ROM, for making our wedding weekend a once in a lifetime experience! We love you guys!

Incredible Band!!! When my wife Nicole and I were making our list of priorities for the perfect wedding, right at the top was music/band. We envisioned an energetic wedding that allowed our guests to let loose and get their dancing on. Republic of Music (ROM) was exactly what we had envisioned! Our reception alone was a whopping 6 hours and ROM held it down for the entirety. Their ability to feel out the crowd and gave everyone what they didn’t even know they wanted was truly the craftsmanship of a well-oiled band. When it came close to the end of our reception Tiana and the crew brought both of us out on stage and had us crowd surf! I’m not sure that any other band with this type of talent could pull off a feat like this. ROM was also the best when it came to requests and I’m not speaking of simple music requests but requests to have two different songs performed by members of our family with of course the support of the entire band. It was pretty spectacular to have our guests so engaged in our night and wore the soles off our shoes! I will also say that prior to the big day Tiana and her team were nothing but professional and extremely creative when it came to helping us outline the timeline. They made themselves very available and were attentive to our ideas. Nicole and I live in Georgia, but despite the distance we felt very well taken care of during the preparation of our San Diego wedding. If you’re looking for an amazing band that will have your guests claim your wedding the best they’ve attended then look no further – Republic of Music is a class act with the talent to blow the roof off any wedding.

Having a good band was at the top of our todo list and ROM is as good as it gets. Bottom line: ROM rocked our wedding. We couldn't have asked for a better band. Fun, personable and so incredibly easy to work with. They kept the dance floor packed and moving the entire night. We wanted to spread out the dancing as much as possible starting early in the party, seeing as we got married on a Sunday night and had to battle early birds going to bed for work the next day. Our dance floor didn't stop and the band kept our guests engaged in various songs. They even had us body surf at the end of the night...possibly to the bands own amazement! Tiana is wonderful to work with and will go above and beyond to make sure you have the perfect entertainment for your event. Great vocals, great people all around.

ROM you guys are absolutely amazing! We were so happy with how wonderful you guys were playing at our wedding. The live music really made our reception special. We loved Tiana's vocals and the amazing team of musicians at ROM. A very big Thank You to everyone at ROM! We have to say working with ROM during the planning process was delightful. We were in contact with Emily and Tiana whom were super friendly and a pleasure to work with. They had an incredible list of songs from different genres to choose from. The consult we had with Tiana the month before the wedding was super thorough; we went over all our song options and preferences. Tiana was also our talented MC for the evening and she went over all the details of our timeline; making sure there was enough timing between games, toasts, etc. We got so many compliments for the band. Pretty much all our guests were on the dance floor til the end of the wedding. Definitely book them for your event!

While looking for a band, our planner told us to reach out to RoM owner, Tiana Hartsten. After speaking with Tiana, we knew they were perfect for us. We loved their high energy, flexibility, professionalism, and overall quality of service. They provided two musicians for our ceremony; three musicians for our cocktail hour, and then a 10 piece band for our reception. At no point did we feel pressured to add on 'extras' to our package and if anything, Tiana and her team helped customize our package for what we wanted (example - we really wanted a fiddle player and and they added an incredible fiddler/electric violin player to our band).
The set options are versatile and the band can basically go in any direction that a couple envisions. My husband and I wanted a mix of mainstream songs, oldies, country, and some jazz - the band did a terrific job touching on every theme we wanted and even learned our first dance song, as that wasn't already in their repertoire. We received so many compliments on the band - my husband's 95 year old grandmother didn't want to leave the dance floor!
We have so many special memories from our wedding day and of our dance floor and the band was one of the key players in making that time so wonderful. We would recommend them wholeheartedly!

The perfect finishing touch! The Republic of Music did an amazing job at my wedding and cocktail hour. My husband and I love live music and we truly enjoyed listening to them at a Wedgewood open house. We quickly booked them for our wedding. We couldn’t have been more impressed. Fantastic song choices, the Guitarist was amazing and Tiana was incredible! She sang a Tom Petty song that was an inside family joke but turned out to be an amazing song to arrive to. Thank you Republic of Music for making my wedding truly story book quality. Everyone all evening kept telling us that it was the most fun and most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Holy $h*t, they were absolutely amazing! I'm the groom and I usually don't use expletives or write reviews (wife's orders), but the Republic of Music deserves both. I've never been to a wedding with a live band, so when they came to ours (also my wife's vision) I was so blown away. They add this completely warm energy and unique experience to the surrounding that allowed everyone to relax, loosen up, and just party! They played anything you wanted, they covered mainly top 40 by our request, but they sounded better then the original artists. We didn't have a lot of time to enjoy the band as we were taking pics and making rounds, but I saw everyone having a good time...I even saw my mom dancing, she is an Asian Tiger Mom, and even she was dancing!! They came with a full band, 3 vocalist, AND a DJ; they also brought lighting. So for the price - it was definitely worth it as hiring a DJ on it's own was almost that price. We are also a muslim couple and they were more than accommodating to any request that we had in terms of attire and music selection. If you want your wedding to have the extra special touch that increases the experiences to both you and your guests, get this band, they will make an impression that will last forever.

Getting an amazing band was priority numero uno for our wedding and after reading tons of reviews, I was already pretty sold on them. Once we sat down with Tiana, we were practically begging to sign a contract. We got the nine piece band for our wedding and on an epic day full of highlights, I think they take top honors. Our party simply would not have been as great without them. We weren’t really interested in doing the “traditional” wedding things – grand entrance, first dance, cake cutting, etc. and Tiana worked with us to make sure the evening was everything we envisioned, including letting the crowd dictate the flow and timeline. I think it takes an extremely professional crew who truly know their stuff to be able to take on that endeavor. They sang, they grooved, they rapped, they learned songs just for us, and they incorporated a last minute request that I made the day before the wedding. You know you have a good thing going when the oldest and youngest guests at the party are in agreement that they are “the best band ever!” But beyond the music, they are down to earth, gracious, and just seem like a fun bunch to be around – I kind of want to become a roadie now. I also know two people in the hotel business who have seen tons of weddings and they, too, think ROM is the best in the biz. If I were a bajillionaire, I would hire them to play at my house every Friday night just so I could dance by myself. Hurry up and snatch them up before they’re booked – you absolutely will not regret it.

There were a lot of question marks for me in wedding planning, but the one thing I knew was we needed an incredible band who could keep everyone on the dance floor the whole night. This is your band. Their #1 skill (beyond being reasonably priced and so lovely to work with) is reading the crowd and adjusting their set list in real time to give your guests what they want. I gave them a list of must-hears and do not plays, but from there they just rocked it. Their energy is also second to none. Now back to working with them - Tiana spent so much time with me helping to design my ideal party. She really listened to the vibe I wanted to create and gave great suggestions (even on the timeline I was working on with my planner) to keep the energy up.
I interviewed a lot of bands before I found Republic of Music; who were more expensive, had bigger egos and just seemed a little more difficult to work with. Take it from me - save your money, save yourself the headache, and give your guests a party they will keep talking about long after the wedding - hire these guys!!

I firmly believe that a band can make or break a wedding - and in our case, Republic of Music absolutely MADE our wedding! They were fun, so engaged with our guests, and everyone absolutely raved about them - they certainly know how to read a crowd, and can keep an epic dance party going like nothing I have ever seen! The versatility in their services offered - from an acoustic duo for ceremony music and perfect jazz-inspired cocktail reception to their amazing, high energy performances and emcee capabilities - was not only impressive from start to finish, it made this aspect of our planning process so much easier. Have you ever been to a wedding where the live music got the dance floor filled before dinner? Neither had we - until Republic of Music did just that at our Mad Men-themed wedding. When the doors opened to the ballroom, the band was playing Motown hits from the Mad Men era and the guests, instead of making their way to their seats, went straight to the dance floor - it was awesome! In fact, everything about Republic of Music's performance at our wedding was awesome. It started with the string quartet that played before and after the ceremony, setting the mood perfectly for the sunset wedding. But they were just getting started - when the full band started, there was no keeping people off the dance floor. They played a perfect mix of new and old and the band's interaction with our guests was so cool - they took requests and even invited one of the best men on stage for a Lady Gaga duet. Everyone at the wedding wanted to know who the band was because they'd never been to a wedding where the music was so great all night. I can't say enough about Republic of Music - they were instrumental in making our wedding so memorable.

Book Republic on Music today because they were AMAZING. We heard about them from a wedding coordinator and another DJ who both said they were good and so we booked them without even listening to a demo. They made our wedding night a total blast and played a good variety of music that we requested; even country music! The energy during the night was crazy high and so many of us were sad when the night had to end. We also had a lot of compliments with some people saying it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. Of all the weddings I've been to in recent years, ROM had the most people on the dance floor which made us really happy. Their 5 star rating accurately reflects their deserved rating and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an great band.

Tiana and Republic of Music were our band for our Sep. 2016 wedding. We couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out. The number 1 response from our guests was how great the band/music was. They were able to preform our 1st dance song (my favorite song from The Little Mermaid) and it sounded wonderful. Tiana was an amazing resource leading up to the wedding and after she provided a huge list of possible songs, she presented a set list, and then tailored it to our guests. Be sure to call Tiana to hear her customized plan for your event, it will be perfect! Stop searching and just use Republic of Music; THEY ARE AMAZING!

When you have a wedding, everyone always has their highlights -be it the food, the venue, etc. Our was EASY to figure out. STILL to this day we keep hearing that our band was the BEST people have ever seen. We were looking for a group that could be the perfect balance between the "fancier" vibe we were going for and the crazy party animals that we knew our guests would turn into. REPUBLIC OF MUSIC WAS THE PERFECT FIT! From the second we sat down to meet to the performance at the wedding, Tiana and her group were super attentive, were able to customize every aspect, were able to offer incredible suggestions and timeline events, and made the process SO EASY! All of our vendors said they were so great to work with as well!! At the actual wedding they were able to read the crowd, had the perfect amount of involvement, and made sure it was the most spectacular night of our lives! Most of our guests traveled to San Diego for the wedding and so many of them kept asking "will they travel? Can we get them to do our wedding?". Trust me when I say they were a hot commodity. If you know exactly what you want, they will deliver! If you don't, they will work with you until they do and it will exceed ALL expectations!! The only downside is that the wedding is over and I can't keep in touch as much as I did during wedding planning. BEST wedding band ever, can't say it enough! You will NOT be disappointed!!

ROM is by far the best and most professional band I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with. As soon as they started performing "Somewhere over the Rainbow" at the ceremony, my wife burst into tears. Being a musician myself it was very important to have a band for our wedding that could not only play the music we wanted, but sound as authentic as possible. From start to finish Tiana made sure she got to know us and what we wanted. We were a bit worried since we are not from San Diego and had to take care of everything from WA, but this group is top class. Tiana and the group performed each song to perfection. My now wife and I have a very broad and differing taste in music from Top 40 to alt rock to R&B to disco and funk. ROM put together a set list that hit every one of those genres and kept the crowd on the dance floor the entire time. Not once was there an empty space up there. We were worried about that because the venue we had our reception at, William D. Evans boat at the Bahia, has an outside deck and the weather was amazing. But people were constantly coming back inside. They are by far the most accommodating and professional group in San Diego. I highly recommend them if you want a packed dance floor and want exactly what you are paying for.

Republic of music was AMAZING! I'm a local wedding planner in San Diego and I chose them for my own wedding because they are the absolute best. Tiana was a pleasure to work with through out the whole planning. The day of, my guest raved about how much energy they had, the variety of music they played and how fantastic they looked on stage. Republic of Music was fantastic! Just had them at our wedding and by the end of the night every single person was on the dance floor! They had great energy, played a variety of music for young and old and were SOOOO MUCH FUN! I had known from the start of wedding planning that I wanted a band because they bring so much more than music to the party. My sister has performed in a 70s cover band for many years and my whole family is musicians so we had very high standards for a dance band and ROM certainly met them. Many of my guests were asking me how I found the band and that they had such a fantastic time at the wedding. Book Republic on Music today because they were AMAZING. We heard about them from a wedding coordinator and another DJ who both said they were good and so we booked them without even listening to a demo. They made our wedding night a total blast and played a good variety of music that we requested; even country music! The energy during the night was crazy high and so many of us were sad when the night had to end. We also had a lot of compliments with some people saying it was the best wedding band they had ever heard. Of all the weddings I've been to in recent years, ROM had the most people on the dance floor which made us really happy. Their 5 star rating accurately reflects their deserved rating and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an great band.

Worth every dime! Like booking anything sight unseen, there is always that small pit in your stomach wondering if you made the right decision for your important day. ROM far surpassed all of our expectations, I just can't recommend enough!! I worked specifically with Tiana and Fairlight. Both were professional and understanding of our vision making their own AWESOME suggestions along the way. There are no words to explain how great the TALENT is. The vocalists are very eclectic performing all genres from Adele to Bon Jovi to The Stones. The dance floor was never empty...mission accomplished. We are already thinking about throwing another party just to have them back!! If you are on the fence about having this band at your wedding or party...make cuts in every other area. No one will remember your centerpieces or cake but they will remember never wanting to leave that dance floor!! It's a no brainer and you won't regret it!

They sent over a timeline of the evening, which included 2 instraments at the ceremony, 7 piece band, and DJ Treflip to end the party. They are as involved in the celebration as you want them to be, and arrive wearing the attire you request. Thy worked well with me and with my planner, and I hope to have another celebration soon so I can have ROM again. In fact, they were hired by a friend of our after they saw them at our wedding. Such an amazing experience with this band. They really captured exactly what we wanted for our wedding. We are music people, my husband and I don't like the typical pop music wedding songs. We are ROCKERS, and Republic of Music put on an awesome rock show. They played a beautiful acoustic set during dinner hour then rocked out and got everyone dancing the rest of the night . Highly highly highly recommend having them play the Led Zeppelin mashup. AWESOME!

My husband and I hired ROM for our recent wedding. We interviewed 3 bands before hiring ROM. After speaking with Tiana, I knew I wanted to hire her and the band to play for our May wedding. Tiana was extremely detailed, helping me plan the order of events for the wedding on our initial call. She was able to work within my budget, and even threw in some extra stuff to ensure I had the wedding of my dreams.
ROM did an amazing job at the wedding..my guests are still raving about the band. They tore it up on every song. My cousin who is a total music snob said "there was no need for any song requests because every song was a hit." Tiana + band sang their heart out. Everyone from kids to parents enjoyed the music. Josh and I married September 6th at the Scripps Forum in La Jolla and Republic of Music (ROM) made our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER!!!! Since I had been planning our wedding from Washington, I didn't get to see the band live prior to our wedding. My dad and siblings went to see ROM play at Club M in Del Mar and they were blown away!! I was already impressed by the reviews and YouTube videos I had seen and read. I knew they were going to be the perfect match for our wedding day and I was totally right!! ROM is professional, fun, amazing and freakishly good at their craft! Vocals were ON POINT and the musicians brought the funk!! We opted to splurge on horns two weeks before the wedding and it was a great decision!! Our guests LOVED the band and their personalities and stage presence set the mood for the night. I cannot say enough about Tiana and how amazing she is to work with. She eased my way from the moment I spoke with her. (I had already booked another band but changed my mind once I was told about ROM) She provided me with piece of mind and made our day run so smoothly. The band did an excellent job keeping our day on schedule and emceed the entire event perfectly. It was really comforting to know that our families could enjoy the evening and not have to worry about making announcements or keeping the night on schedule. Dinner music was amazing, slower songs really allowed you hear just how amazingly talented the vocalists are. As the evening progressed Josh and I did not stop dancing all night along with our guests! My sisters and I also got to be band mates for the day and sing with the band which was pretty epic!! My dad is a man of few words, but he couldn't stop talking about the band for days!! He already said he wants to book ROM for their 40th wedding anniversary!! If you're looking for a band for your big event, stop looking!!! You have found who you are looking for!! ROM will not disappoint! We had the RoM play at our wedding and they BLEW IT OUT OF THE WATER! We had a five piece and they were able to play all the important songs that we wanted and kept the energy level up all night. We got SO many compliments on this band, I would 100% whole heartedly recommend them because every single person at the wedding seemed to love it. A month later and people are still tracking me down to tell me how awesome the band was! Tiana was great and highly communicative on what exactly she needed from us. Her worksheet was super informative and even helped us plan the whole night! We loved that they were able to play so many songs that we requested and others in that vein (we wanted a 50's-60's vibe with a few newer songs mixed in).
My husband is a drummer and a "live music or bust" kind of guy and we were lucky enough to find such an amazing and professional band; they even let him play a song with them! We let them "go for it" (level of interaction with the audience) and they delivered, book them and you won't regret it!

I can't put into words how fantastic this band is. My wedding was last Friday and I'm still getting calls about how great the music was. In fact, one of my guests made it a point to tell my wife that this was the most fun she's ever had at a wedding.
The band made it a point to engage with our guests and they absolutely loved it. To be honest, my wife and I thought that we wouldn't get many people to dance, but Tiana and a gentlemen who was also singing did a great job of loosening up the crowd.
They reached out and drew everyone in as they also acted as MCs and were gracious enough to take requests. I was a jerk and asked despite knowing that there was no time to rehearse, but despite what many would see as a disadvantage Tiana and the rest exceeded expectation with passion and gusto.
They also showed a versatility that blew us away. They were exuberant professionals and talented artists who transitioned without, excuse the pun, missing a beat.

One of the aspects of our wedding that my husband and I were most picky about was our band. We had a destination wedding on Coronado Island and we really wanted a band that could show all of our guests a good time. Republic of Music was so easy to work with, they communicated extremely well and were accommodating to our music selections. They learned two new songs for our first dance and father/daughter dance that were awesome! The night of the wedding, they played to the crowd and I don't think I ever saw the dance floor empty. If you're tired of reading a million reviews like I was when I was searching for a band, then STOP -- just book Republic of Music! You won't be disappointed! I can write a million reviews, but nothing will come close to describing what an AWESOME choice Republic of Music is for your wedding or whatever special event you're currently planning.
We saw a bunch of different bands when we were searching for the perfect one for our wedding in October 2014. The music was at the top of the list of most important things to me and my husband (then fiance) so we knew we had to put in the max effort to get the right band. We watched videos on YouTube, looked at websites, saw shows...and it was all worth it the night we saw Republic of Music. Now, it could end right there - they could just have an awesome band that would be great for your wedding. But it goes beyond that. Tiana is SO amazing to work with. She is super communicative and on top of all the details. She makes sure you are constantly on the same page. She made my job as a bride SO much easier. We gave the band a list of songs - things we DEFINITELY wanted them to play (which they did), things we DEFINITELY wanted them to not play (they made sure not to!) and beyond that, we left it up to them and they kept the dance floor full until the absolute end of the night. They also learned our first dance song ESPECIALLY for us and did a killer job of it! Tiana was an awesome emcee as well!
My wedding was only a few weeks ago, so brides + grooms who are reading this right now - I get it! I know how stressful it is, I know how much pressure is on you right now, and I know that you just want to find vendors that you can trust with your event because it is so important to you. You can trust Tiana and Republic of Music. End the stress now and just hire them! :)

My wedding venue had stricter sound guidelines than most, and we had a mixture of family cultures that made choosing the music a task. They are the only truly customizable and happily accommodating band I found that was also insanely talented. Not only was Tiana an absolute joy to work with on the business end of things, but they brought an incredible show. No one would have known there were any special guidelines. They got everyone involved and we had an amazing time! A year later, we still get compliments. My brother-in-law is a fantastic trumpet player and they even let him jump on stage with them for a couple songs, never having met before. They are complete pros and were one of the only vendors that day that relieved, rather than added to the inevitable stress of wedding planning. I am so happy we went with ROM! Republic of Music (ROM), in my opinion, is one of the best live band/entertainment in the industry. Around two years ago, they performed at a friend's wedding, and I was truly impressed. I was at awe at their professionalism, showmanship, and musical expertise. The guests, including me, were entertained and we had a lot of fun. I vowed from that night to hire them if ever I got married.
Fast forward to last year - my fiancée then (now my wife), and I, were planning for our wedding's entertainment. I never forgot about ROM, so we decided to meet Tiana and see if our wedding date and our budget would work out. During our conversation, Tiana confidently said that the band is way better than they were two years ago. And oh boy was she right!
There are three major things that impressed me about ROM.
One: Musical Expertise. All the band members are professional musicians, and they are very good at what they do. I played the guitar and the bass, and I understand how much effort, skill, and time it takes to be very good. Believe me; these people invested a lot to be very good. The individual musicians, and the band as a whole, sound very, very well, and they play the songs almost like what you hear on the radio. I don't think they made a glaring mistake; and if ever they made any mistakes, those are minimal, minor and unnoticeable (I didn't notice; I was too busy enjoying the music).
Two: Fun & Professional. They may be good musicians, but they know how to work the crowd. They are lively. They smile a lot. They dance. In other words, they set the mood. In addition, when they are on stage, they don't look like they're working; they look like they are enjoying themselves. Also, our interactions with Tiana, Rick, Kori and the rest of the band are well-handled and professional. We never had any problems with them; it was an overall positive experience.
Three: Great Value. In my opinion, their service was worth upwards of ~ 7K-8K for a six-piece band (which we got) but we paid less than 5K. My wife and I got a great deal. My thought was: why pay a DJ 1K, maybe 2K, wherein you can add a couple of K's and you get a live band? A live band has a different vibe/feel to it than a DJ.
I am very thankful and blessed to have known Republic of Music and to have them play at our wedding. They helped make our day fun and memorable. And if ever I find myself in need or want of a live band, I know who to call.

Republic of Music was incredible! They were the perfect live-band to have at our 2015 Palm Springs wedding. Not only were they incredibly easy, accommodating, and helpful to work with prior to the event, but they brought their A game on wedding night. The mix of cover songs were perfect for each phase of the evening, and Tiana is a fantastic MC!
Their energy is so contagious that our guest couldn't help hit the dance floor the moment the ceremony was done (we had to pull them off to do dinner and toasts!).

It's hard to find the words on how incredible this band is. I am in awe of their talent and their kindness.
We were lucky enough to get to rock out with Republic of Music for two of our friends weddings earlier in the year. My husband and I aren't big dancers but after hearing RoM for that first time, we refused to ever leave the dance floor.
We knew we had to have them at our wedding. They bent over backwards to travel up to northern California even when they had a gig in SD the very next day. Tiana knew how much it would mean to me and my husband to have them at our wedding and she made it happen. It meant the world to us to have them there especially because it was the most memorable part of the evening! Tiana and Corey bring their rockstar voices every time. They even learned a song (with only a week's notice) for our first dance. My husband and I hired ROM for our wedding after seeing them perform at my friends wedding. We had so much fun at their wedding we knew that was the type of party we wanted at our wedding. This band is so professional, will wear whatever is requested to fit the theme, and send over an elaborate timeline so everyone is on the same page. Tiana worked well with me as well as with our wedding coordinator. We had a few musicians for our ceremony, a couple more for our cocktail hour, a seven piece band for our wedding, and closed it out with DJ Treflip. The band was amazing, kept everyone dancing all night, and Treflip did the same. I can't wait for our family to have another celebration so we can hire ROM again. Hands down the BEST!!!

Josh and I married September 6th at the Scripps Forum in La Jolla and Republic of Music (ROM) made our wedding day the BEST DAY EVER!!!! Since I had been planning our wedding from Washington, I didn't get to see the band live prior to our wedding. My dad and siblings went to see ROM play at Club M in Del Mar and they were blown away!! I was already impressed by the reviews and YouTube videos I had seen and read. I knew they were going to be the perfect match for our wedding day and I was totally right!!
ROM is professional, fun, amazing and freakishly good at their craft!
Vocals were ON POINT and the musicians brought the funk!! We opted to splurge on horns two weeks before the wedding and it was a great decision!! Our guests LOVED the band and their personalities and stage presence set the mood for the night. I cannot say enough about Tiana and how amazing she is to work with. She eased my way from the moment I spoke with her. (I had already booked another band but changed my mind once I was told about ROM) She provided me with piece of mind and made our day run so smoothly. The band did an excellent job keeping our day on schedule and emceed the entire event perfectly. It was really comforting to know that our families could enjoy the evening and not have to worry about making announcements or keeping the night on schedule.
Dinner music was amazing, slower songs really allowed you hear just how amazingly talented the vocalists are. As the evening progressed Josh and I did not stop dancing all night along with our guests! My sisters and I also got to be band mates for the day and sing with the band which was pretty epic!! My dad is a man of few words, but he couldn't stop talking about the band for days!! He already said he wants to book ROM for their 40th wedding anniversary!!
If you're looking for a band for your big event, stop looking!!! You have found who you are looking for!! ROM will not disappoint! I have to say, despite the GAZILLION positive reviews of these guys I was still quite nervous about booking a band I'd never seen or heard in person. Thank goodness I went with my gut and trusted the reviews as they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! Seriously, they made the wedding and people are still talking about them! I opted for the 'let us do our thang' package due to a wedding I had been to before where the bride/groom gave set songs for the poor band, who played them well, but emptied the dance floor. RoM were able to keep the dancefloor packed the entire time - and I had a DAYTIME wedding so was a bit concerned no one would want to dance!!! From the get go, almost a year ago, Tiana has been very attentive and keeping my butt in line recommended timelines, updates, etc.. she's a practical wedding planner!! They played the instruments perfectly, and their voices.. OMG - you guys should offer a CD for each wedding cause we could listen to you over and over again! Not only that, but when Tiana saw that the bridal party was sitting in direct sunlight (oopsie, didn't think of that!) she ran over and gave me like 5 pairs of their own glasses!!!! Unreal. Blown away. You'd be crazy to not go with these guys, message me if you need any more information!!!!

There are a lot of decisions to be made to plan a perfect wedding. After having just finished my wedding last saturday 11/01/14, I quickly realized that the best and most important decision I made was choosing RoM.
I am a very hands-on kind of bride. If you break it down, there are a few factors when selecting a vendor for me
1. Ease to deal with: Tiana was so down to earth, so accommodating, and very responsive.
2. Quality of work: Out of the 5 bands we interviewed, regardless of price, they were definitely the most professional, and best sounding band.
3. Value for the money: When we heard their prices, I couldn't believe how reasonable it was.
With all 3 criteria checked off, selecting them was a no brainer. The planning process was so easy with Tiana, she worked with the hotel, and the wedding planner on the schedule, I barely had to get involved.
The wedding night was unbelievable. We had so many last minute requests to sing and dance with the band, RoM was able to accommodate everyone beautifully. We did not give them a strict song list, just a few songs we liked, and based on that, they got a feel from the crowd. Everyone loved ALL the songs they picked. Every time I get a chance to speak to someone about the wedding, first thing they will mention is how awesome the entertainment was that night. (And I am one of the last amongst friends to get married, all of my friends weddings had live bands)
When I read the reviews online before selecting the band, I was skeptical about all the comments on how great this band was. But now I am a believer! We are definitely hiring RoM for all future events, anniversaries, birthdays, someone from work even mentioned Christmas party. REALLY, best decision you will make, you won't regret it.

What can I say about this band? They are AMAZING!!! They played my wedding this past September and our guests had a wonderful time. Tiana and her crew are so easy to work with and boy can they rock it!. They are very energetic and know how to keep the crowd engaged in the fun. If you want a specific song and they currently do not know it they will learn it. Tiana and Corey have awesome voices and if you are brave and or like to sing they are great to have backing you up even if you forget the words (like I did).
If you do not have a band for your occasion I recommend them over and over! Forget the rest and go with the BEST!

I can't say enough wonderful things about ROM. From start to finish from the moment I met Tiana till the guests begged for them to play one more song before calling it a night, they were professional, and even more importantly, a TON of of fun. The dance floor was packed from the opening note until the end of the night. There were 20 years olds dancing, there were 70 year olds dancing. My father in law said at one point during the night "I have no idea what any of this crap they're playing is, but I can't stop moving my feet!" I was a sweaty mess by the end of the night myself (but still a beautifully glowing bride, of course!).
Leading up to the event, there were some last minute restrictions/ issues with noise level at our venue that had me slightly freaking out, concerned that we wouldn't be able to have live music. Tiana took charge and worked with the venue to ensure that everything would be per the venues limits. She took an enormous weight off of my shoulders in the week leading up to the wedding. It was a huge relief knowing that I had someone informative and willing to take the time to make our wedding live up to our dreams. It's no wonder they're known as the the best live wedding band in San Diego.
ROM made our night a dream come true, without a doubt!

Absolutely Amazing! Thank goodness for Google =) hile looking for wedding bands in San Diego, I am beyond grateful I came across Republic of Music (ROM). They truly were an amazing addition to our wedding day! The number one question we got afterwards was "where did you find the band?!?!"
Not only was Tiana so attentive in helping us bring our wedding vision to life, on the day of, the band was fun and professional. They even helped my sister put together a last minute performance of "Faithfully" by Journey. My sister told them which song she wanted to sing and in what key and they put it together DURING THEIR BREAK!
We gave them very few specifics. They fulfilled the few requests we had, and went on to read the crowd for the rest of the night. It was an amazing night of dancing and fun! An overall, absolute blast!
For many of my younger cousins, this was the first wedding they have ever attended (as I may have mentioned, I'm the oldest/first of 15 cousins to get married) and my aunts are telling their kids, "not every wedding band is REMOTELY that fun/awesome...this was not normal, so don't get used to it!" Overall, I cannot recommend ROM enough for your wedding or private event. Absolutely superb!!

Rom was great! We had the 10 pc band with horns and 4 singers! Killer night at the Montage Laguna Beach!
RoM had a great dinner set and later filled the dance floor with songs from the 50's to today. The Bride/Groom and parent dance songs were learned to a T and made the occasion very special! (A Charleston, Frank Sinatra and a Beatles tune...great range of styles...they nailed all the songs.)
They did a great job MC'ing the night keeping all the guests involved and entertained. Everybody I have spoken to since has said the Band was great! This was a true highlight of the night.
My daughter sang with the Band and I sat in on some guitar and vocals....this was a gas! I very highly recommend RoM!

Our wedding was in April and to this day, the #1 thing people mention about our wedding is how awesome the band was! They truly are the best wedding band in Southern California. We used them for the whole wedding: Tiana sang a song to acoustic guitar for our ceremony, we had 3 of them doing instrumental lounge/jazz during cocktails, and then had 7-piece band for the dancing, as we wanted male and female vocals and saxophone.
I have to say, they were above and beyond our expectations. We especially liked their variety, how well they played every song, and that they really knew how to keep the dancefloor full - our dancefloor turned out to not be big enough.
All of them are talented and we especially liked Kori - he has an incredible voice, make sure you have him as one of the vocals. His rendition of "All of Me" was so beautiful - everyone stopped what they were doing to listen. We recommend all of them without hesitation.

I first discovered Republic of Music at the San Diego Bridal show. I could hear them singing from the different booths and had to find out where it was coming from. When I finally found where the amazing singing was originating, I met Tiana. She was so personable and made me feel very confident that I found the band for my wedding. During the wedding process I never worried about the entertainment. Tiana and her band knew exactly what they are doing and will cater to exactly what you want them to play. Before my wedding they let me come see them perform at different wedding and that sealed the deal for me. THEY ARE AMAZING!!!
I had my wedding at the US Grant in the presidential ballroom. I could not have been more happier on my wedding day that I booked the Republic of Music for my wedding. Not only do they put on an amazing show, they also MC it and make sure everything is running on time. If I did not have Tiana as the MC for my wedding I could see it being a disaster. During the wedding the dance floor was never empty. Everyone from the 20 somethings to 80 yrs old enjoyed the music and were up dancing. We recently had our wedding reception in SD at the US Grant hotel. Most of the vendors we hired to create our dream wedding were chosen from wedding websites which we were very pleased with, but the only thing we were missing was a live band. We hired a DJ months beforehand, however, in our hearts we knew we wanted a band and not a cheesy wedding band at that!!! After months and months of searching the Internet and being let down by a couple of unreliable artists, we were referred to the REPUBLIC OF MUSIC.
At first we were a bit hesitant as this was one of the biggest days of our lives and we didn't want to be disappointed. Tiana!...Tiana! Tiana! She was amazing from start to finish! she was flexible...genuinely caring and really listened to exactly what we wanted. On the night of our wedding, when we entered the room, we were absolutely blown away by how beautiful Tiana, Korey and the band sounded. They managed to learn a requested song within a week and overall they were terrific. I would recommend them to any person who is willing to invest in live music for their event. All our wedding guests could not stop talking about how great the band and DJ were and I truly believe they made our wedding come to life. ROM kicked butt. There are so many things to take care of a wedding day and the music was one thing we did not have to worry about. I believe I talked to Tiana once prior to see if everything was ok and she said not to worry.
They played at the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Total professional. Sound was perfect. Music ranging from jazz, blues, 60's to present. We chose most of our songs from their long list and ROM learned a couple of special songs that we wanted. Had everyone dancing the whole night. The next morning, everyone commented on how great the band was. Just a better party vibe with live music.

Groom speaking: I don't readily give out perfect reviews, but for Republic of Music, I do, because I can't imagine having a better wedding band experience. I gave a perfect five stars for Quality of Service, because Repubic of Music's musicality is impeccable. They even learned some songs of Tower of Power (a soul-funk band known for their precise rhythmic syncopation and piercing harmonious horns), and they performed them (as well as the rest of the repertoire) perfectly and with so much energy and soul. They know how to get everybody on their feet!
Five stars for both Responsiveness and Professionalism, because not only did RoM always quickly but thoroughly respond to inquiry, but also gave helpful reminders for deadlines and in general kept in very good communication, even when we in our busy-ness were late in our correspondence.
Five stars for Value, because compared to other quotes we got, we knew we were getting a tremendous deal. We were invited to listen to the band at another event. RoM smartly utilizes their members' talents so as to provide a flexible lineup that sounds great but keeps the headcount down. And lastly, five stars for Flexibility because RoM is able to work with you to create exactly the experience you want. They are
not constrained to any single genre of music. They dress exactly how you want them too. We even got to perform a song with the band (me on piano and my bride singing)! To sum up, I cannot more highly recommend Republic of Music as your live wedding band. They add class, value, and fun to your wedding reception that no DJ ever could and make it something that will stand out in yours and your guests' memories forever.

The great part is that they work with your requests and budget and we ended up hiring them to do our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
They made it really easy and seamless during all parts of working with them. They were responsive to our emails, they learned our first dance song (which was perfect) they will MC your wedding as well if you would like and they really keep the dance floor full. Our daughter was just married last month. I was referred to Republic of Music by another Bride that had used them and was told they MADE the wedding! They were so right; live music was amazing. From the guitar for the ceremony, the beautiful music for the happy hour and then the full band for the reception; we didn't have to source out separate vendors.
We were at Paradise Point and they rocked the house. Since our daughter and son in law are in Chicago Tiana spent hours on Skype with them to fine tune the evening and she made it perfect. She's also an amazing MC. It is so important to have someone that is going to keep the party going and the events that need to take place during the night. The best wedding band in San Diego! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!!!

Wow! What an incredible experience working with Tiana and Republic of Music. I had close to 300 guests at my wedding and every person I have talked to since have said that this was the BEST live wedding band they have ever experienced. I couldn't agree more and I have been to a lot of weddings!! They could not stop talking about how fun and talented the band was and how great they were at getting the crowd going and dancing!! They went above and beyond my expectations.
They moved the night along so effortlessly and stayed on schedule to make sure we could get as much dancing in as possible. I have been to more weddings than I can count where it seemed the band or DJ just did not help the bride/groom, wedding party and family to know what was going on or what to be prepared for next. Not the case with Republic of Music. Everything was very clear and laid out beforehand and the night of moved seemlessly through all the traditional reception "to do's" from first dance, to toasts, to cake cutting, to garter/boquet toss and on to dancing! dancing! dancing! My guests were dancing the night away and there was never, not once, an empty or even close to empty dance floor!! It was AWESOME!!
The best thing about working with Tiana prior to the event was her availability to speak with me over the phone to answer any questions. She really took her time with me and offered ideas and suggestions when I needed them... and I needed them! From booking to performance night, Tiana and Republic of Music was outstanding. There are so many stressors involved with planning a wedding and it was so comforting to know that I did not have to worry about the band! Every time I spoke with Tiana, she was so kind, professional and helpful that I was immediately put at ease. She knows her stuff and she really took her time getting to know me to find out what type of music we liked or what we would be uncomfortable with as well as the percentage of guests in various age ranges to get a feel for what they would enjoy.
You can not go wrong with this band! Trust me! You and your guests will have a blast and you will hear them go on and on like I have about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Book Repbulic of Music!!

From the moment I heard the Republic of Music play at the US Grant Bridal Swoon I knew I had to hire them for the wedding.
Tiana was our main point of contact and was a great pleasure to work with. She was always very patient and had great ideas. Not only that but boy does she have a voice.
Day of the wedding we had one of the musicians play for the ceremony and a five piece band for the reception. Tiana was our MC. They did a fantastic job and we have received very many compliments on how great the band was and how our guests liked it better than a DJ. The only regret I do have is that we didn't get a chance to listen to them more day of our wedding. We were so busy running around, changing and talking to all our guests that we were barely even at our seats. Although, our guests compliments on the band reassured us that they were just as great as the day we saw them at the bridal event.

Republic of Music was definitely a highlight of our wedding! They provided music for my wedding for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dancing music for the reception, and all of it was top quality and exactly what my husband and I were looking for!
Tiana and her band were extremely easy to work with throughout the entire process. We had some requests that weren't on their list, but they were able to learn them and play them beautifully for us. And then once the party started, boy did it start! And they kept it going throughout the whole reception! When we had to stop dancing to do cake, I was almost disappointed because I really just wanted to keep going :)
The variety of music they play is also incredible. It ranged from "Surfer Girl" and "God Only Knows" to "Baby Got Back" and "Blurred Lines." Their talents are unmatched and their energy never ends! I absolutely recommend Republic of Music to anyone looking for a San Diego wedding band! It was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We love you guys and thanks for putting on one amazing show!!!!!!

Republic of Music was very responsive and professional throughout our entire experience. To earn our business Tiana invited us to a Band Rehearsal where they played several genres of music showcasing their wide range of talent. We were sold right then on their talent and voices! We then met with Tiana before our wedding to go through the very detailed Timeline for our wedding day. Tiana wanted to make sure that she understood every song that we wanted them to play or not play as well as the iPOD songs playing during band breaks.
Our Wedding Day could not have been more perfect because of this band. They played beautifully on the acoustic guitar for our ceremony music, following with some Jimmy Buffett/beach Boys during cocktail hour. For Reception, we had the 7 piece band perform in which they were all dressed professionally in black and white formal attire. Tiana was the lead MC and kept things moving flawlessly throughout the Reception. They played every song we requested with choreographed danced routines. In addition, The band learned 3 new songs for our bride/groom, father/daughter, mother/son dances. Not only did they sing them flawlessly, but they sounded even better then the original artists. Overall we had the best experience using this band and they seriously made our wedding amazing and memorable. The dance floor was packed the entire night and I barely left the dance floor! It was a bash!!!
I highly recommend using Republic of Music as your live wedding band. They are professional, fun, and will make your wedding memorable for everyone! I am definitely going to use them in the future and refer them to anyone that asks for a band.

I booked these guys for my wedding and they went above and beyond what I could have even thought of asking for. Tiana was amazing. First, I didn't have a timeline when I met with her. She sat down with me and patiently created one that made the night go smooth. Second, we asked them to do a special song that wasn't on their list for our first dance and they nailed it night of. I wish we could have recorded it because it was amazing! Third, the night of the wedding they masterfully MC'd the whole night, kept everyone on the dance floor, interacted with the crowd and had everyone begging for more. This is how you know they're really good.
After the wedding, all everyone talked about was how great the band was. We had fantastic food (location was at the Del Mar Brigantine) and amazing decor (again, the Brigantine is gorgeous, but add tons of flowers to the mix, amazing), but everyone just kept mentioning they had the time of their life because of the band. So thank you Republic of Music, for making my wedding the best night of my life, my husbands life and everyone else's lives!

Now that the wedding is over and things are getting back to normal, I wanted to take a moment to thank Republic of Music! Our wedding was at L'Auberge in San Diego and the music and excitement Republic of Music provided was the highlight of the day. The strings during the ceremony were lovely, the MC work by Tiana during dinner was spot on, and the music during the reception was over the top. All day and continuing still, people complimented us on our fantastic band. We really had high expectations and weren't the easiest clients :) The end result was exactly what we wanted and the band totally rocked!

EVERYONE has to book Republic of Music! They made our wedding by far the best!!! All our guests still have not stopped raving about them! They were so much more than I could have possibly dreamed!!! We actually had another band booked and heard Republic of Music at the wedding convention at the US Grant and cancelled the other band the following week!
Tiana was a complete pleasure to work with! Always accessible and easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted and brought it all the day of the wedding and then some! They played all the music we wanted and as we watched the video from the wedding at times we forgot it wasn't the actual record playing because they sounded amazing!!! They brought such high energy and Tiana was a great MC throughout the night!!! Now I'm just looking for some other reason so throw a big party so we can have them play again!!!

What an excellent Southern California wedding band! Tiana bent over backwards to make sure that all our musical needs were met! We gave her quite a set list to work around and she really worked with, listened to each reason behind every song choice and helped me downsize our lengthy set list to one that would properly fit our wedding!
The band was on fire, the guests were dancing the whole night and their look as a whole just really added to their energy and professionalism! Their price point is very reasonable without giving up quality! Thank you Republic of Music!!! You guys are amazing!!!!!

Republic of Music is fantastic! We used them as the band for our wedding and could not be happier. The band put on such a wonderful performance and all of our guests were dancing much more than we expected. We got a lot of feedback from our guests that they really loved the band.
Tiana was so great to communicate with during the planning process. She was really responsive with calls and emails. She really made sure that our needs were met while still guiding us with her experience as an MC.

Tiana (the lead singer and MC) was so sweet and genuine. Throughout the entire process, she was so responsive to emails and questions. She instilled a sense of confidence and calm with us regarding our wedding. A few months before our wedding we were able to see her and the band play a gig at the Hilton. We were BLOWN away.
Throughout the wedding reception Tiana was so attentive to us and our needs while being organized, professional, and a great entertainer/MC. She even pulled my father in law up on stage and let him sing! ROM made our wedding personal, organized, professional, and exactly the type of reception we had always imagined. This band ROCKS!!! Tiana & Co. are extremely talented, energetic, cool, & fun. My wife & I hired her & the ROM for our wine country wedding in Temecula, CA in 12/2013. We had a sophisticated/cool mojo @ the wedding, & these cats fit in perfectly. Not only did they look & act the part, the music was incredible & very high energy. Jazz, rock, Motown, you name it, & they played it...spot on.
They were easy to deal with up to & including on the wedding day - everyone was cheerful & happy to be there. Great emcee work by Tiana, too - good transitions, etc. They played straight through for 1.5 hours & not once was the dance floor empty - it was an amazing time to say the least!
I highly recommend Tiana & the Republic of Music for any event, but especially weddings with live music - they really are a perfect touch to make a wedding go from good to great. Ditch the DJ. Get a live band. Go with ROM. Peace!
P.S. We had a string trio from ROM for the ceremony & they also did a FANTASTIC job - added another level of beauty & sophistication to the evening. Great, professional performers.

Wow what can I say about this band! They went above and beyond my expectations! We had them play and allow some Karaoke for our guest to sing at our wedding and the even went without a hitch. I recommend them for any function, they are professional, they sound awesome and my guests kept telling me how awesome the band was. Tiana the manager and the lead singer was amazing. I was so nervous and didn't know how to coordinate my wedding and she just held my hand through the hold process. Everyone complimented her and said she was such an awesome Masters of Ceremony. We were married September 29th, 2012 and hired Republic of Music’s Jazzique trio for our wedding. We wanted a classy and elegant vibe in the background and these musicians were everything we'd hoped for. They were off the hook amazing! Tiana Hartsten, the owner is great to work with, made everything so simple for us and catered to our every need. They really worked with our budget and accommodated all the songs we wanted to hear. Our wedding was really intimate and small so having the right musicians was even more important. Jazzique's musicians were so warm, professional, on time, and talented! We couldn't have asked for more! We would hire this band again in an instant.

My wife and I were absolutely thrilled with the performance that Republic of Music gave at our wedding! We had the reception on a Yacht that cruised around San Diego. We were concerned with the logistics involved with a live band playing on different decks at different points of the evening, but RoM went out of their way to coordinate everything in advance to deliver flawless performances the entire time!
Also - the flexibility of their music styling was wonderful. My wife and I were very particular about what we wanted played and worked very closely with the band leader (Kori) on the setlist. While they can perform music from all different eras, we mainly wanted dance music from the last few years. RoM was able to perform live and professional renditions of VERY current hits like "I Gotta Feeling", "Only Girl In The World", "Poker Face", "Rolling In The Deep" and many more. Our guests were blown away with how current and fresh RoM keeps themselves!
