Romance By the Sea

Since we are a cover band based on the beautiful coast of San Diego, CA, Republic of Music is no stranger to parties on the beach. However, the coast is also the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding day. Recent clients Anne and Dan could not have been more excited about celebrating their special day with friends and family, mostly from Minnesota, on the shores of the Pacific Ocean at the Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla. Surrounded by views of the La Jolla Cove and pier, this venue was breathtaking and full of romance.

The couple loves their dogs and Lyndsey of "I Do Weddings" did an incredible job of including each of them as ring bearers before the bride walked down the aisle, just as the sun was setting. The wedding was adorned with beautiful flower bouquets and arrangements crafted by Allen Flowers. After the couple said their "I Do's", the celebration continued with lots of toasting, dancing and a little "Vegas" in San Diego with several casino tables that added to the excitement of the evening.

No day of romance is complete without music, and Anne and Dan were lucky enough to have their entertainment provided by Republic of Music! From start to finish, we were happy to be there and provide cover tunes for the cake cutting, sing their favorite song live for their first dance, and keep their guests moving and grooving to the sounds of yesterday and today's most popular dance songs. Music is the key element to creating memories and completing a beautiful and romantic day that will keep friends and family reminiscing for decades to come.
